When in Newark, Prudential Center is the place to go for a game of hockey or college basketball. Known as The Rock, the arena is home to the NHL's New Jersey Devils and the NCAA's Seton Hall Pirates. From the jerseys of high school teams to the Devils store and the outdoor plaza, you'll be constantly reminded that this is the hockey epicenter of New Jersey. The arena combines state-of-the art broadcasting technology and amenities, such as bars and restaurants, to give the fans a pleasurable game experience. In addition to sports, the center often hosts concerts and other live events. Depending on the event, the arena's capacity shifts between 16,500 and 19,500; the surrounding area provides enough parking spaces regardless. Prudential Center reviews
We had a ball at a Chris Brown Concert here on 7.26.22. "Breezy" ensured that all had a great time. The crowd was so diverse and amazing too.

Cool stadium, but unfortunately a bit of a hike from nearby public transport stations. Food is mediocre and expensive, but I suppose there's no avoiding that. Entrances can be a bit hard to find...

Yes, you can go here for great concerts and they will be awesome but not because of the venue itself. Good production companies have made this place shine brighter than it should. I’ve been to a lot of venues and as a backstage worker this place needs to hire people who like the entertainment industry and not just random people that are interested in making hours to cash out. Most of them are rude or just don’t care for their jobs. Dressing rooms are clean but need carpet replacement. Main concourse is good. Great food and really well organized. Overall not a bad place to be but it could be way better.
OH My, Prudential Center was beautiful. Was there to see the Circus Solely (not spelled correctly, sorry). The block in front of the Center was closed off ensuring all who would be walking to cross from the parking area(s). WOW, I felt much better. The security entering was polite and knew their jobs. Every thing was very clean, referring to the bathrooms and seats. I can't wait to go there again.
