Create an itinerary including Lakewood Vineyards
Located on beautiful Seneca Lake in the heart of Finger Lakes Wine Country, Lakewood Vineyards produces award-winning wines. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff and breathtaking views will create a memorable winery experience.

We are a family owned and operated vineyard dedicated to sustainable farming. We use all green energy to produce our wines and run our shop! Because our family has been in the grape growing business since the 1950s, we know our fair share about producing high quality grapes and wines.

Our gift shop is stocked with local cheeses, jams, jellies, salsas, honey, and more. After your tasting, take your glass or bottle of wine onto our deck overlooking the vineyards! You can also walk around the vineyard if you so desire.

Let our knowledgeable staff teach you about our wines and wine-making process during a tasting. Stop by for an awesome vineyard experience today!
Plan your visit to Lakewood Vineyards and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Watkins Glen day trip site.

  • We stopped in about 15 minutes before closing and were able to get in the last tasting of the day. The staff was kind and knowledgeable. The wines were good. I especially liked the bubbly.

  • All wines were good, but the whites were their forte. Nice picnic areas with great views. Dog friendly. Niagara was best we’ve had and Niagara’s are usually not our favorite.

  • Lakewood was our favorite Seneca Lake stop this visit. It's in close proximity to Watkins Glen, and I would encourage you to stop in and pay them a visit. This is a third generation winery with some great history. Jordyn who took care of us (part of the family) is super knowledgeable, charming and wise beyond her years. She provided great insight and guided us to some fantastic wines. Lakewood has a nice view of the lake from both inside and out. The vineyard is just off the deck as well. We were able to take advantage of an outdoor tasting. They added permanent heaters which is a nice touch. The price for tastings are reasonable, for what the area is charging. They do provide you with a wooden token, that you can use as a discount off a couple bottles of wine. Hardly anyone does that anymore and we appreciated as it's a nice touch.
  • It was a great experience, kind ans attentive customer service. We did a wine tasting, most of the wines won an award and I particularly loved the Muscat 2021 and the Long Stem White 2021. Pd. There are trails open to the customers.
