Featuring a picturesque gorge cut through by Glen Creek and 19 different waterfalls, Watkins Glen State Park offers outdoor activities like hiking, swimming, and fishing. Three different trails provide access to the 120 m (400 ft) deep gorge and surrounding forests. Some even wind their way under waterfalls. Comfortable campsites have amenities including showers, a food store, organized recreation programs and tours, and an Olympic-sized pool for both day and overnight visitors. The park is open year round, but this is not true for all facilities. Be sure to check the website ahead of time when planning a visit. Beautiful and very family friendly. We have been blessed with God's touch of this beautiful land. Ambiance and the scenery play a pivotal role to experience the overwhelming Joy you will feel at Watkins Glen State Park. There is plenty of things to do more than you would be able to fit in your plans. If it's here to Camp or just take a day-trip. All your need to be fulfilled. You can almost call it your own little Paradise. See what I did there I use my own name a little Paradise. Well I guess I'll stop rambling but other than that you should go visit do you understand experience to your own eyes.

Watkins Glen State Park is a one of the beautiful state parks in New York State. The park is famous for its scenic rock formations and the 400 feet deep narrow gorge. There are several trails and waterfalls that one can enjoy on their visit. Parking is limited and is available at all 3 entrances. Would suggest taking Gorge trail which is the most scenic trail out of the three. It is closest to the stream and to the gorge. Several waterfalls, stone bridges, tunnels and overlooks are located along this trail making it very attractive and photogenic. Be careful while hiking the Gorge trail as some parts of it are wet and slippery.
